Entertainment
A variety of entertainment can be provided for adult and youth groups. CU Conference Services can arrange for bands, DJ's, or fortune tellers at adult receptions, dinners or banquets.
For youth groups, on-campus events such as parties at CU's Connection and shows at our Fiske Planetarium can be arranged. The connection houses a bowling alley, pool tables, and video games and the planetarium offers star talks and star star and laser shows.
For recreation, membership passes can be provided to groups or individuals at a nominal fee for access to CU's Recreation and fitness facilities. The Recreation Center offers swimming pools, an ice rink, handball/racquetball courts, squash courts, a general gym for volleyball or badminton, a free-weight room, nautilus room, indoor track, therapy and sauna room, and basketball and tennis courts.
Off-campus, the City of Boulder offers a wide variety of activities for guests including shopping on our famous Pearl Street Mall; hundreds of fabulous and eclectic restaurants, a variety of cultural activities, outdoor recreation like hiking and biking on any of our hundreds of miles of local mountain park and open space trails. Local attractions are also available to our guests including the Celestial Seasonings Tea tour or the Leanin' Tree Museum of Western Art.
