CU Boulder is a perfect place for outdoor events. We have several outdoor venues that can be reserved for your group including

• Fields & Lawns For Sports Camps and Team Building Exercises


• Lawns & Ponds For Catered Functions, Cookouts, or Special Events


• Terraces & Patios For Receptions, Entertainers, and Music Events

The lawn at Williams Village is a great place for cheerleading camps and outdoor educational events.

Farrand or Franklin Fields are great for sports activities or camps, and our Norlin lawn is a beautiful location for special classes, or cookout events. If entertainment is more your style, try our UMC Terrace!

If venturing further off-campus is your desire, take your group for a hike or a picnic in the Flatirons Mountains at Chautauqua Park or the Flagstaff Stone Shelter. Chautauqua leads to several Flatirons hiking trails and the Stone Shelter overlooks the City of Boulder, the Continental Divide, and the beautiful Flatiron Mountains. Both areas are great for cookouts, group events, and adventures into the Rocky Mountains; scenic venues you won't want to miss!
