Large Venues

CU Boulder offers large venues for your conferencing needs including our auditorium, multipurpose rooms, ballroom, Stadium Club and Macky.

Macky Auditorium has two levels of theater style seating holding 2,047 people and is known as one of the premiere concert halls on the Front Range. It has full audio/visual, sound and lighting capabilities, and can be outfitted for audio/visual recording. Vendor catering is available with advance notice.

The University Memorial Center offers 3 rooms for catering events and lecture style meetings.

• The Multipurpose Room fits 300 lecture style/200 banquet style. Recently renovated, it is fully A/V equipped with DVD/VCR/Cable, computer access, screen, LCD projector, PA and sound system.


• The Ballroom fits up to 1,200 lecture style/500 banquet style, and 700 for receptions. This room can also be split into three separate lecture halls. Fully A/V equipped with an LCD, Overhead, lighting, and sound, the Ballroom can be outfitted for video/audio taping.


• The Aspen Rooms can house up to 130 theater/lecture style/100 banquet style, and 120 for receptions. This room can accommodate arrangements for full audio/visual equipment.

CU's Coors Event Center offers a chair and bench seating arena for 11,200. This venue is great for opening/closing ceremonies, large events, or special catering functions.

Our newest facility, the CU Stadium Club at Folsom Field offers a spectacular view of the CU Football Stadium and the Flatiron Mountains. With a square footage of 8,570, the club level of this facility can fit 800 banquet style and 2,000 reception style. The club level can also be split up to accommodate 600 on each side theater style, or 300-350 classroom style.

Looking for exhibit space? Balch Field House, Carlson Gym, and the UMC Ballroom offer a combined total of over 50,000 square feet of exhibit space for your group's use. In addition, we can help make arrangements for audio/visual equipment, exhibit booth pipe and drape, and catering to help make your event a success.
