Can guests bring their computers and connect to the internet in their rooms?

Yes. All conference participants can bring their computers and hook up to the internet in their rooms. A username and password for Internet access can be arranged for your group by your conference coordinator. Ethernet cables and computers must be provided by participants. Some residence halls also offer wireless connection; please inquire for more information.

Where can participants get computer access, printing access, internet access?

To meet the computer needs of our guests, computer kiosks for internet and email access are available in labs throughout campus and at Kittredge and Williams Village Residence Halls. Computer labs on campus require an access account. Accounts can be arranged for your group by your conference coordinator.

Will a gym or recreational facility be available for conference guests during their visit?

Yes. Your coordinator can arrange to have the University's Recreation Center available for use during your group's stay given advance notice. Group or individual use can be arranged for a nominal daily or weekly fee. The Recreation Center offers swimming pools, an ice rink, ten handball/racquetball courts, two squash courts, a general gym for volleyball or badminton, a free-weight room, a nautilus room, an indoor track, basketball courts, tennis courts, therapy room and saunas.

Who do I contact on campus in case of an emergency?

Where is the on-campus health center? What are the center's hours?

Wardenburg is our on-campus health center. Their number is 303-492-5101. They are located on the north side of the Cheyenne Arapaho Residence Hall, on the corner of Broadway and 18th Street. Their hours are as follows: M-F 8am-5pm. Saturday 11am- 4pm. These hours are subject to change.

What facilities do you have that accommodate children or infants?

Children can be accommodated in our campus housing. We can provide you with cribs and rollways given advance notice.

Does the University offer wake-up calls?

Wake-up service is not currently offered at the University. We recommend that all participants bring an alarm clock.

How far is CU Boulder from the airport? How can participants get to CU from the airport?

Boulder is located 26 miles northwest of Denver on Hwy. 36. If driving, when leaving the airport, remain on Pena Blvd. Take Pena Blvd. to I-70 West, follow I-70 West to I-76 West. Follow I-76 West to Hwy. 36 to Boulder. Exit Baseline Road upon entering Boulder. If staying on main campus, go left onto Baseline and right onto Broadway.

What is there to do in the Boulder area?

There's plenty for guests to do in the Boulder area. The city offers a wide variety of activities for guests including shopping on our famous Pearl Street Mall; hundreds of fabulous and eclectic restaurants, a variety of cultural activities, outdoor recreation like hiking and biking on any of our hundreds of miles of local mountain park and open space trails. Fun local attractions are also available to our guests like the Celestial Seasonings Tea or the Leanin' Tree Museum of Western Art tours, or visiting our farmer's market near the Dushanbe Teahouse.
