Where do participants eat during their stay at CU?

During their stay, groups that have a meal package will eat in one of our dining halls. The hall assigned will be in proximity to their assigned residence hall. This information will be distributed to you before the group arrives. For groups with special restrictions or request, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your needs.

What are guarantees and when are they due?

Guarantees are the estimated number of participants you feel will eat meals with us or attend a specific catered event. Housing meal and catering guarantees vary. Please contact us for more information.

What are the meal hours when dining on campus at the residence halls?

Currently, our meal schedule is as follows:

  • Breakfast: 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM
  • Lunch: 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Dinner: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

    Can participants purchase meal tickets if their group is not providing meals?

    Guests may purchase individual meal tickets at the front desk of their assigned residence hall building on days that the dining hall is open for meals.

    Can we bring in our own food for breaks or meals?

    Catering must be provided by the University in residence halls and many campus facilities.

    Can we bring in our own alcohol for catered events?

    University policy requires that alcoholic beverage must be supplied by University staff. All state and local liquor laws are strictly enforced.

    Can we ship in donated food/alcohol products?

    Typically, all food and beverage must be supplied by the University.
