What dates can groups be brought to the University of Colorado at Boulder?

Groups can be brought to the University year-round. On-campus housing for groups can be provided from the last week in May to the first week in August. Rates vary based on service type, meals, etc. Please contact us for more information.

What are the housing and dining rates?

For groups staying on-campus, a customized housing and dining package will be created based on your room type, number of lodging nights, and meal package.

What type of housing/bathroom accommodations are available at CU?

A variety of housing accommodations can be arranged for your group based on their housing needs and availability. All of our residence halls contain traditional rooms (rooms with two twin beds) and community-style bathrooms. Some halls contain apartment style or suite-style accommodations with kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms. Please contact us for availability and booking.

Are the residence hall rooms air-conditioned?

Most residence halls do not have air-conditioning. The exceptions to this are the Williams Village Complex and the Bear Creek Apartments. Please contact us for availability.

What does a residence hall room have in it?

Each residence hall room is furnished with two extra long twin beds, dressers, desks, chairs, a closet, a telephone, and a micro-fridge (with refrigerator freezer and microwave). Televisions are located in the lounge or in the main common buildings of each complex. Vending machines and laundry facilities are located in each residence hall building.

Can CU Conference Services take care of registration for a conference?

Yes. Our office can provide cost effective fax, mail-in, or web registration services for your group. Our registration services include designing the registration form, registration revenue collection, deposit and reconciliation, conference and revenue report generation, registration confirmations, conference rosters, and participant name badges.

Does the University offer wake-up calls?

Wake-up service is not currently offered at the University. We recommend that all participants bring an alarm clock.

Can guests bring their computers and connect to the internet in their rooms?

Yes. All conference participants can bring their computers and hook up to the internet in their rooms. A username and password for Internet access can be arranged for your group by your conference coordinator. Ethernet cables and computers must be provided by participants. Some residence halls also offer wireless connection; please inquire for more information.

Where can participants get computer access, printing access, internet access?

To meet the computer needs of our guests, computer kiosks for internet and email access are available in labs throughout campus and at the Kittredge and Williams Village Residence Halls. Computer labs on campus require an access account. Accounts can be arranged for your group by your conference coordinator. Cards with printing dollars on them can be purchased at various locations on campus and used throughout at campus computer labs.

Will a gym or recreational facility be available for conference guests during their visit?

Yes. Your coordinator can arrange to have the University's Recreation Center available for use during your group's stay given advance notice. Group or individual use can be arranged for a nominal daily or weekly fee.
